Default Sportshifters-Porsche

Hey all, I thought a thread specific to Sportshifters would be appropriate now. The response has been great and I thought it deserves more eyes.
The product is excellent, the customizable options are great, and Roy's customer service is outstanding.
This thread will better serve questions specific to Sportshifters, and a place to post all the great examples I've seen in the other misc. threads.

Shout out to the Mods if they see their way to moving some of the posts from the other thread!

My custom GT3 shifter is being built. Do they offer a Track Your Dream shifter app? Lol

Will they match trim finish or did I misunderstand that?

The aluminum to console trim. Someone in the other thread mentioned they worked on this but I didn't see any options or commentary about custom aluminum finish on their site.

Yes. I was told for my CGTS I needed the sightly darker aluminum. Roy knew what to order.

Literally ask Roy anything with regards to the colors and options. He will answer! I'm pretty sure I'm going to do another one for sh#ts and giggles!

This really looks very solid and beautiful. All the available options make it a real personal product. Gotta love that! Too many options make you start doubting about your choice though. Do I go for flat or round, like my current gear lever? Just like ordering a Porsche lol. Not all options are very clear immediately. But going back and forth with the gallery makes it a bit more visible.

If I see it clearly the GT2 version is the one that looks most like the manual I have now in the 992 T right? Was wondering about these two things on the GT2 custom version:

1. The stitching option. If you chose “no stitching” do you get the shifter as shown in the pictures above? Where the stitching is just in the back?
2. The weight difference. I have a 992 manual. Is that the light weight version? Any experience in the medium or heavy one? I would like it to be a bit more heavy but not extremely heavy so seems the medium one is the one to go. Unless the standard one is already medium.

Of course I will consider mailing Roy as suggested here. But before doing so just wanted to ask here.

EDIT: turns out this company is in the Netherlands 80 miles from my home lol

GT3 version is the most clean/minimalistic option.
Stitching. The above has no stitching on the alcantara, if it did you'd see a double stitching on the rear facing alcantara section.
Weight. Personal preference, but medium is a safe/good option. I'd say medium is 3-5 times heavier than OEM. The higher you position the ****, the more leverage and longer the throw. The lower you position the ****, the weight has less effect on leverage.

Thanks for your help. I thought on the back it was the stitched side. And medium seems best indeed if OEM is that light. But I will go to their company this week since it’s so nearby.

OEM shifter = 82 grams (plastic)
SS GT3 medium = 329 grams

Default Next level

Next level customer service. Before I ordered. I am duly impressed. I did not have a complicated order and just wasn’t sure I was going to order what I wanted. Incredibly timely response and helped me adjust a mistake I’d made. Order placed and glad to get it. But also glad to be supporting this business! If up front experience is any indication of future happiness I’m going to be more than happy. I’ll update once received
