Yes as I got time to know my new GT4 RS plus after break in, I started to realize a sudden loud vibration over the intake sounds from 2k plus rpm with PDK sport off driving gently. Apparently I did ask around and they said its normal but just to make sure when I have the time, I will compare with my friends GT4 RS then only I can know better about this resonance. I'm glad to hear others are experiencing this as I got super paranoid to the point I watched many POV videos trying to match the sound but it was hard.

Over the years. I’ve had five GT cars 996 gt3,996gt2 2-781 gt4s and my current 992gt3 .
They all make strange noises probably the worst was a 996 Gt3 idling it sounded like a can of nuts and bolts rattling.
When you turn tight the rear end would skip because of the locking differential.
Current Gt3 mainly interior noises.
I just picked up a 992 GTS That’s the first 992 out of three of them that hasn’t had a rattle ..
I guess three times is a charm

That's the normal intake sound when you floor it and the sound were talking about always dominates the normal intake air hissing noise with a sudden loud buzz\vibration.

Listen at 4:45 this is one of the best examples I found, firstly you hear the intake noise then after that comes the buzzing noise etc. You can hear it in the background just ignore the person talking.

I am on my 2nd GT4RS.. first one was non Weissach.. and ONLY at low RPM 1600-1800 a high pitched rattling vibration sound.. I don’t recall noticing on prior car.. and am very accustomed to all the other garbling GT motor sounds.. this one is high pitched.. like the brittle carbon fiber air box is vibrating loudly.. if anyone has played pinball recently .. sounds similar but much more annoying like the playfield glass rattling from a cabinet shaker
