Default GT4RS Sounds / Noises - normal or not?

Ok so I am paranoid. I’ve had the GT4RS for about 500mi now. I’ve heard some noises I wonder if they are normal.
  1. Around 0-3k rpm with 1/4 throttle I get a buzzy noise I think could be the intake assembly. Only with low rpm’s and bass tones does it happen
  2. I notice a clack (or click) sometimes when releasing the brakes. Comes from around the engine area.

Normal? Not normal?

All the other interesting sounds etc all match the ‘18 GT3 I had.

How about you consult with the best local Porsche tech in your area?
Everyone in DFW knows who they'd check with, I bet you've got a similar local resource.

I'm at 700 miles.

Around 0-3k rpm with 1/4 throttle I get a buzzy noise...I have this as well. But NOT really sure what it is, but it's light and I hear it more when in sport mode. I haven't been too concerned. Would not expect the/my dealer to know one way or the other. Maybe a high volume gt dealer

So I'm fairly new to the Porsche family and in DFW. I have a suspicion that this best local tech might be in Plano, if it's who I am thinking of but I would obviously love to know who YOU are thinking of!

thank you. I’m guessing this is just a quirk of the car. To me nothing sounds broken just low rev “character”

I think I’m just going to start calling it “the brown note”

One other detail is that it happens in automatic mode mostly.

I experience the same thing, but for me it’s usually with exhaust valves open and in 7th gear.

Have heard a few similar "one-off" noises. But have not been able to reliably reproduce them. We need the Click and Clack brothers!

How's your oil consumption? Mine burned through ~1/2 liter in 700 km (from 3/4 mark to 1/4 mark).

I haven’t checked and the light hasn’t come on. But I just picked up 2 bottles today just in case.

Drove mine home today from the dealer, so took it easy with 10 miles on the clock.
It sounds like a backpack with 3 engines, 2 sounding broken.

Very entertaining..
