Default How loud is the GT4 RS cabin?

How loud is this car inside? Is it more than 105 db? Do you get ringing in your ears after a 30 minute spirited drive? I used to have my GT3RS straight piped that registered 108db inside the cabin. It sounded like RSR but I would come home literally with temporary hearing loss (which is semi permanent and eats your hearing away slowly) so I got rid of that system. I’m curious how loud it is.

EDIT: Question is for GT4RS

I edited your title.

This has been discussed in the GT4 RS thread repeatedly.

Loud is not the way to describe it in my opinion. It speaks with authority

Which GT4RS thread? I actually did look at all GT4RS threads but they are all so long, if you point me in the right direction I’ll dig deeper.

Use the advanced search feature this forum for “noise” or other similar search terms.

Search not just titles.

Lots of threads will appear; search the GT4RS discussion thread.

One guy said he measured around 115 db at full chat in the cabin. Obviously you aren't getting that constantly, but...gawt dayum!

i remember the first time i rode in a GT3RS, it was a brand new 2016 991.1 (i think it was Weissach, but not sure if that makes a difference with the exhaust) and the perfect word to describe it was intoxicating. I still remember that sound to this day. I can imagine the GT4RS could be even better with the motor being closer to you.

EDIT: Question is for GT4RS
It’s perfectly fine when just cruising with valves shut. Did my run-in without ear protection and no problems with either loudness in cabin or stiff suspension as everyone claimed which is just bs. It’s a perfect GT car for long trips! Spirited driving with valves shut, is just sublime, but once you open the valves you’ll be exhausted (literally&#128516 after a while.

Pressing the PSE button makes a bigger difference on the 4RS than any other Porsche I've owned. Don't press the PSE or PASM Sport one and I find the 4RS surprisingly comfortable to cruis in. Press both buttons and it turns into a wild untamed feral animal.

How can the PSE button have any effect on the interior intake noise?

I would describe the noise as noisy but liveable off the throttle and glorious on the throttle

Not the intake noise obviously. There is some drone at around 2.5k with PSE on which 100% goes away with it off. Intake noise in intoxicating at least up to the 6k I'm limiting my 4RS to during running in.
