I get the need for protection but I have never seen a scratched touchscreen in any car I have owned. Is there actually a history of scratching the screen here?

 

I did it for the looks, makes the screen look clearer and brighter, YMMV. But for 10 bucks on Amazon it was worth a gamble

 

I had mine on then left a good friend with the car for a few minutes and came back to find out he had sneakily removed it. I was going to keep it on for a few months just to extend the new car in the wrapper feel, but he robbed me of my freedom to choose. I never said anything to him, but I think he knows that I know that he knows I know.

Im shocked and dismayed at how many people in this thread have admitted to keeping the plastic on. And worst of all, I had to find out via this thread that my very own brother, @JAhmed , is one of these horrible people. Those of you who have kept it on are robbing yourselves of the ultra HD sharpness of the screen.
