I have the DJB ones and I’m not sure I like them. The front of the seat is too high but the helmet clearance is better.

I have trackspec auto brackets. I wish the lean were half as much. Before I felt like the back of my legs didn't have enough support and was too upright. With the recliners installed seating is much more comfortable but now I have to reach a little for the clutch pedal. I feel like it's highly dependent on your anatomy.

My 981 is obviously manual and I have to drive with the wheel nearly full inwards so I can run the seat forward to endure full relaxed clutch pedal movement. The RS is PDK and I sit much further back. I can get good positions in both cars and the Quest arms (in the 981) have the added benefit of angle adjustment as one raises and lowers the seat height.

Trackspec are hands down the best. The TPC ones tilt the seat way too much. Track spec has the least lean, its just enough to be perfect with a helmet.

That would depend on your build/height...I find them just right and my helmet rest in the perfect position. I think we are also splitting hairs here as the differences are not that great in terms of angle but good to have options to fit everyone.
What I do like about the TPC, which is very popular design in Europe, is that IMHO is a more solid /robust solution in terms of handling forces. The other ones are at the base of the seat, which with someone on the seat creates more leverage.

For sure. I'm 5'11 and the trackspec works the best for me. I found the TPC pulled my legs up too far for the clutch to be comfortable, as at full press the back of your thigh really pushes into the seat. On a PDK car would be fine. Form memory trackspec tilt is about 1.5inches compared to TPC at 3 inches.

True...it does lift the front more. My last two track cars are PDK so no issue there as you mention.

DBJ has a 50% off the second set sale right now so I ordered a couple sets of those because why not.

85Gold: Can you post the specs for the back cushions you ordered? Sounds like what I need! TIA

I've installed the DBJ units but too much angle for me (5'6"); harder to see the front corners and the front is just a bit too tall.

TPC here and very happy. For me it solved the helmet / hans driving position and I also prefer it for normal street driving.

Just picked up a set of trackspec brackets. Wish Porsche had added just a bit more recline angle in these seats. From what I’ve read in this thread the trackspec seem to have the angle right but DBJ is less of a job to install. Anyone know if the DBJ has a greater tilt than the trackspec?

DBJ has two different options so I'm not sure which ones you are referring to.

TPC for me (in my GT3). I'm 5'-11" and perfect for me in street or track use. BBI installed them when I was putting in a roll cage and harness, and commented on the solid design and fit when I picked the car. No experience with the others.
