As opposed to Harris fan boy levels? lol Pots and kettles?
I doubt Harris is dumb enough to not think of the ramifications of his video. So yeah…social media black mail. What else would you call it? Low key, since he didn’t rant, but it’s still there. Look at all you homers, outraged he didn’t get a car.

Did both celebrity and 918 VIP programs expired at the same time? No idea if he was trying to cut in line or was given an unfavorable surprise waiting in line. I'm sure Porsche will make a special allocation for him since he is good advertising.

OPC Reading is also the HQ of PC GB ... so it not "just" a dealership being uncooperative its the PAG subsidiary in the UK ... I'm a little surprised that Chris and the like don't just pick up the phone and call AP - with the media access Harris has its hardly good PR that for the "price of an allocation" could not be "cheap" marketing...

How true this is. I didn't even have a particularly bad experience, but overall buying my GT4 was more of a hassle than buying my Supra or M2C for that matter. And while my GT4 is 3 times the price of those cars, I really didn't expect it to also be 3 times the hassle. Its so true though that as soon as I started driving my car all of those annoyances disappeared, but man I do wish the buying process was easier.

I know somebody like that... he was kind of embarrassed that he had to pull some strings with PNA because of his relative influencer status to get a GT4 allocation (obviously disclosed in private) but passed on it.

Know him since he was at Autocar, liked him for his direct style (Driver's Republic was also nice) and "learned from him" to never tag your clothes.
He got an RS 4.0, which he flipped after a few months, then the 991.2 Touring (which got crashed into), replaced it with something similar...then the 992 Touring, at a time when other would sell an arm and a leg to be able to order one. Also, he didn't have to lease a Taycan/Cayenne/Macan or buy a watch with any of the Tourings. He tried to sell the 991.2 but didn't get what he wanted so he is keeping it and selling the newer 992 instead.
Wondered why he didn't touch the 991R or the 991.1 and 2 RS.
And, he was now also offered an GT4 RS, which he didn't take because he didn't like to wait or the configuration wasn't what he wanted?!
Porsche can and maybe should select his customers. Because they can. Remember (it was a joke, I know...) when Clarkson went up those stairs and kneeled* before signing to buy a F355? Hard to wake up and discover that your "clout" can only get you that much extra in life. Tough luck.
