Default Raceseng Stratos **** + Numeric Installed

Installed the Raceseng Stratos ****. It's just under a pound. Crazy feeling that weight in your hand in comparison to the stock one.

I installed the Numeric Racing short shifter a few weeks ago. I raised it 1/2" higher over stock positioning to optimize shifts. Amazing upgrade! Must do for any manual transmission owner. This **** came up for sale and had me curious. This makes the short shift kit even better as it reduces the force needed to get into gear, especially when you are just driving around town.

Overall love this upgrade. Helped a few friends install the Numeric and they also love it. Very happy GT4 owner.

Did you leave the OEM cables or replace?
Thanks

Looks great, I sort of regret going for the golf ball one over that racetex design. I guess I can add that one to my birthday list or something. I notice my shifter boot is a bit tighter now in 4th and 6th gears, I guess the fabric is just a bit higher up than stock.

Looks great.
I did my CGTS with Raceseng Stratos and feels far smoother and direct. I already had the GT4 OEM SSK shifter installed for a few month prior.

Stock cables. Decided to work up incrementally if I felt I needed more out of the numeric. Honestly feels really great as is. 2 of my other friends installed it as well and they see to be satisfied.

You can always post it up on the marketplace and switch to the one you prefer. Correct any upward position of the stock boot will cause it to stretch a bit. With the Numeric installed it is shorter so less stretch. I did raise up my shaft 1/2" over stock and I notice its tight but works perfectly still.

The OEM GT4 shifter is great but consider the Numeric. Its the next step should you ever feel curious enough to try.

Good to know you had the shift kit installed a few months prior to installing the **** and you still felt it was the right way forward. Also thanks for your feedback on the exhaust threads!

Nice! I just purchased the Titanium version of this. I wondering how it'll be hopefully the gold goes well with the yellow deviated stitching.

overall 9/10. Only thing i wish was the color was a bit more yellow. But the shift feel and build quality is great.

Porsche shift **** comes with a boot but the boot can be easily separated. So I removed the **** and transfered the boot. It just gets zip tied in place.

looks very sharp..I dear say it's new. My only reservation with alcantara/suede type handles etc is they don't stay in mint condition.. obviously oils in the hand play a part. Maybe you use driving gloves.

It really isn't hard to clean.

From my experience, quality alcantara actually stays fresh longer than leather. Easy clean with damp MF cloth. Leather scratches and shines-up after a few years.
