production numbers

I started to read my Dec 2022 Panorama mag looking at production number stats. The production of all 718 is down 9.4%, 682 cars delivered for the third quarter compared to last year 753 cars. All 718s down 23.3% over the three quarters from last year. 911 cars up 37.9% third quarter and up 10.1% for the first three quarters
What does this mean? We all have been on the waiting lists, many of us are still waiting, so the potential sales are there. For the uninformed it would seem the 718 is not a popular model as compared to the 911 and they are having a hard time finding buyers. Does the factory prioritize the most expensive model? How many base 718s are out there or T or the S? You very rarely see any one post about these models on the forum or see one.
The posts are mostly about GT4 or spyder with some gts. Are more gt4/spyders produced than gts or are gt4/spyder owners more excited and post more?

The 992 and 982 are produced on the same Zuff line.
Yes, 992 numbers up and 982 down. Draw your own conclusions.
992 makes the most per unit. 982 is the smallest selling in PAG’s lineup. Not hard to see what they’re doing.
They are expanding the 982 production at VAG Osnabrucke this summer. Has been an Cayman overflow facility for awhile.
Looks like they’re going to pump out a bunch of 718 special editions last year of production
