Got irons on my Spyder and they squeal like a pig in slaughter house since pretty much day 1. Brake dust is a pain in the butt especially with Gentian, on Chalk should be easier to live with.

My PCCBs still squeal once in a while, but nowhere near as much as in the beginning. Thankfully, I have a JCR Superlight exhaust that drowns out everything

I have never heard a peep from my PCCBs, on my current Spyder or last Targa GTS. Love the initial bite and no brake dust, as well as the size of the rotors through the wheels...well worth the cost to me, even with the optional Black calipers.

After being away for a year I returned home and fired up the Spyder.
Here are my thoughts on my "driver's build".
1. LWBS. AGONY getting into them with the TOP UP. Just painful, but I drive the car with the top down every chance I get and I love the look. It's not my DD, it's a focused "let's drop the top and go for a drive" and great once you are in them. Nice to be able to swap out the inserts. Order them again? Yes.
2. PCCBs - love them, no squeal, incredible braking power, and these ones seem less "bighty" than my last set on the Carrera T, just perfect. Order again? Yes
3. Engine noise - hmmmm, not the best. Slightly irritatiing squeals and ticks but that is all documented elsewhere. It's no GT engine like my friend's new GT3 Touring. But order? No other choice unless pony up for the RS, which is unlikely for many reasons. Nice torquey power? YES! Love it.
4. Stereo, base - haven't listened to it much yet but happy I did not waste money on BOSE. I tend to drive with it OFF unless I'm in slow moving traffic. Burmester? Yes, maybe next time.
5. Full leather? Yes. Silver stiching would have been nice just to break it up a bit.
6. CF? It's ok, darkens up the interior. Order? Maybe
7. Lights? Bi-Xenon with PDLS seem fine. Order again? Sure
8. Exclusive Design gas cap? Yes
9. Sun Visors in Race Tech? Hmmm.... probably order from Belgium without the obnoxious safety stickers
10. Summer Tire option? Click this box to get Michelin PS4s. I just re-shod with Michelin Alpins for some great winter driving but for summer, in the Pacific NW, PS4s are the best, Order? Yes!
Note: Prices below are CADs.

Same here! It’s two weeks old with 400 total miles and started around the 300 mile mark. Tons of dust too. My 05 996TTS had PCCB’s and never squealed once.

A few weeks ago I was cruising and there were two guys in the next car looking at my car. When we came to a stop at the light next to each other they heard the brake squeal, the passenger looked at me in shock and asked: is that coming from your car???

It’s funny how experience varies so much with squeal. My ‘22 pccb haven’t so much as made a chirp, and seem almost entirely dust free. #knockwood

Yeah, whenever my iron rotors squeal, I know that I'm not braking hard enough. That's easy to fix, find a deserted road and beat them.
Dust OTOH, ugh, it's brutal.
Will I change on the SRS? No, that car will resale with marshmallow brakes.
