Love the FitcamX! I am always impressed with the clarity of the video as well; however, I will say that one thing that really bothered me is that since the lens is about 1-1.5 inches from the windshield, there is a glare from the dash in the videos. You can clearly see it in this video:
I purchased this polarizing filter ( ) that is sold for the Garmin dashcam and it fits perfectly on the FitcamX lens too. It eliminates the glare.

While it is present in my footage also, it's a lot less noticeable as I have a black dash so you only really see the reflection of the camera.

Mine came in last week but I didn't realize it and it has been sitting in the garage.
Installed it tonight. Actual installation took about 10 minutes and then another 20 trying to get all the cables to fit. I ordered the front and back cameras but only installed the back but now I had one more cable to try to tuck. In the Boxter, there really is not a lot of space and the connectors are long and hard to fit.
It all works, too late for a drive but will play with it this week.

I purchased this polarizing filter (Amazon.com: Garmin Polarized rear Lens Cover for Dash Cam, (010-12530-18) : Electronics) that is sold for the Garmin dashcam and it fits perfectly on the FitcamX lens too. It eliminates the glare.
