@RoadrunnerGTS so I am confused (normal)... you state in item 7 that you can code the Auto Start Stop to "Last Mode", yet then you say that you can not.....?????
Can you please clarify. Thank you.

Hello guys,
I was wondering which is the easiest way just to set the instruments light always on even with light selector in auto position.
I mean, I don't want to buy any hardware or software just to make this mod, so is there another way, maybe to pay someone to do it?
best regards

I was looking at the launch x431 after having the launch cp129e for years. I am hesitating because it does not have lifetime update. Does anyone know the yearly update cost? Thanks in advance

There is about 2-3 years free updates from purchase and registration. For our 982, there's unlikely to be any required updates. Updates are for new vehicles supported and cost around $100 for 2 years.

For completeness: on a PIWIS III you can view over rev info with the following steps: Diagnostics → <Select Car> → DME → Actual values input signals → Z_Timing angle

Thanks. I would never have guessed it was in "timing angle". It was not an intuitive one....

Pretty sure the answer is yes, but it doesn't tilt by very much. See here ....

With memory seats, when you have the transmission in reverse, and the mirror is tilted, you can change the angle of the mirror using the mirror adjustment switches, once you do that, it will always tilt to the angle you have set. Perhaps it also works for cars without memory function?
All the best
