Congratulations to you and your Little-Lady on your incoming Porsche Spyder in White, enjoy.
If I'm reading your post correctly
The 2022 Porsche Spyder in Gentian Blue in this Thread is a close buddy of mine here in Franklin, Tennessee USA
His name is Jim Dillard .............
This Thread and the comments are all about his New Gentian Blue Spyder.
I'm just the guy that drove over and took all those pictures in the 1st Post here.
Below is Jim Dillard as he stands beside my Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 in the Racing Yellow.
Sorry for the Confusion buddy.
Terry

You know that's a HUGE-huge mistake making me drive your Spyder with the 6-Speed manual.
I was actually the guy people watched closely when I had the Limited-Edition Bullitt Mustang with the 6-Speed Manual.
I'm a Holly-Terror driving a MANUAL Dawg.
LOL,
Terry

Congrats on the Spyder!
I was in the process of designing a 718 LP bracket before seeing that one. I ended up buying a clean 2016 Cayman S so I didn't need one in the end.

Guys,
Our Rennlist buddy Jim Dillard is on a plane right now.
So,
He sent me some pictures of his 2022 Porsche Spyder in Gentian Blue.
The pictures below are of it after Nick PON (Shop Foreman) did the PDI so Jim could see it before he left for vacation.
Note*
As you will see the Spyder is {DIRTY} because he told Nick to make sure it was NOT washed at PON.
Because he's taking it from PON to Murfreesboro, TN. to have the, Paint-Correction, PPF, and then the Ceramic Coating done.
Nick is going to try his best to get all the changes done before Jim gets back off vacation next week if at all possible.
I'm personally looking forward to my hopefully 1-day extended longgggggg ride,
Terry

Hi Terry,
Sorry for the mistake, yes I did realize you were being a good M8.
I’m sure Jim was really grateful.
Love your Cayman GT4 though, I actually read your post about switching to the Michelin Pilot AS4’s. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’ve been very satisfied with the results.
I hope to do the same on our Spyder, no tracking with this Baby.😂
Cheers.

Jim,
You missed a big opportunity: with just a couple more options, you could have maxed out column 3 and gotten a 2nd window sticker 😀
But seriously, $133k with no carbon buckets and no PCCB, you hit the options list hard!

Latest Up-Date on Jim's 2022 Gentian Blue Porsche Spyder ...
Greetings,
Well since my local Porsche buddy (Jim Dillard) is in Seattle, Washington doing the Family Reunion thing.
I think it's up to me to check on his Porsche Spyder ...............
This is Thursday, August 18th 2022 around 9am Central Time Zone in the USA.
Pictures are taken at the Old Mini Dealership that is now extra storage for New arrivals as well as (A-Few) SPECIAL Porsches being worked on in the Porsche Shop like Jim's Spyder.
It's stored with some other Awesome Porsche Machines waiting for (Nick) the (Shop-Foreman) to have time to install Jim's changes.
I'm getting ready to make the drive .............
Just arrived ............
These are all taken inside the Facility on the Showroom floor ..............
.
I wish I had the software to make it look like I actually wrote on his Spyder's-Trunk but this will have to Suffice.
.
LOL,
Terry

They do exactly what All the videos show.
They are Quiet, Handling is Awesome on the street, Stop exceptionally well even at plus 130MPH (Mexico of course), handle rain and down-pours easily.
Plus they are rated at , as I recall like 35,000 miles for wear.
Bottom-Line:
I have plus 5,000 miles on my GT4 and have driven it in a variety of weather conditions with Zero-Issues.
I recently did a rather quick round-trip to San Antonio, Texas and back in three days.
That covered 2,141 miles total.
And believe me it was HOTTTTTTTTTTTT in Texas !!!
So even at plus 100 degrees Heat-Index and driving on the interstate they did great.
There is No-Real-Reason for a person that's NOT-Tracking their Porsche and lives where they experience all 4-seasons.
To not have the Michelin AS/4 tires as they are the Best Choice on the market.
BTW,
You might have read that Jim Dillard is also having the Michelin AS/4 tires installed on his just arrived Porsche Spyder.
He has also driven my GT4 for a longggggggggg afternoon and loved them.
Glad I finally saw your Post,
Terry

@tigerhonaker , you should do @jimdillard a solid and just drive his Spyder up to Seattle to break it in for him.
So he can fully enjoy his car the first time he gets in.

It doesn't take much for him to get PARANOID !!!
In software of course
NOT on the 2022 Porsche Gentian Blue {TRUNK-LID} EVER-ever.
Outstanding Sir

Here's some facts on how things sometimes actually are.
Never-ever purchase a New Performance Car from it being listed as the Dp (Dealer-Principal) or GSM (General Sales Manager's) DEMO.
They run the CRAP out of them right off the bat.
As soon as the PDI is done they are out showing their Buddies just how Bad-*** they are !!!
And speaking of PDI ...........
The Tech doing it if their is no one around ???
Does the Full-Blown, Wide-Open from a Stop to see just how Baddddddddddd is it ???
If the General-Public actually knew what can and does take place (Sometimes) they would want to KICK someones ***.
Oh, how do I know the above ?????????????????????
I worked for New car dealerships for over 16-years and believe me some of the CRAZIEST stories you hear are not always Bull-$hit.
Terry
