this combo absolutely command respect from try car enthusiast. How is the Emira steering and handling comparing to the 4RS?
RS is like hammer, Emira is more delicate instrument. Its steering gives lots of feedback and reacts sharper to inputs. Suspension is very compliant, but RS is not that stiff as well. For street driving at 7/10’th I prefer Emira, its like Evora v.2.0. Performance wise there is no comparison, RS engine/gearbox and roadholding are superior, feels like Emira would loose its composure quite quickly on track. Haven’t tried it yet.
Loving this 4RS so far. It's a nice balance to turbos in the old 2RS.
I'd love to hear your perspective on your experience with these two... I have tons of seat time in several very dialed in 996 Turbos and GT2's, and a 991 Turbo S with some minor track mods, and am accumulating some time in the new 4RS, but never had the opportunity to drive a 991 gen 2RS, and it is on my short list for "what's next?"
