Yes, turn off A/C, get all the other settings where you want them (temp, auto fan, seats, mirrors, etc.), and then press Set and the Key Icon. I also would program Memory Position 1 with the same settings, just because I'm OCD.

I haven't tried fan off, but set fan speed at 2 bars and the temp and the flow direction. All saved OK.

TBH, I'd prefer it simply stored the setting that the car was on last ignition cycle. Memory storing AC is a bit over the top.

There is a setting for this also. In the MFD, SETTINGS > LOCKING > AUTO MEMORY

This will store all the current settings to the KEY each time the ignition is turn off and the doors are locked. You can get more details on this function in the Owners Manual.

Mine doesn't have that in the menu. Perhaps that's for cars without memory buttons 1/2.

My apologies. This is for the 981 series, my 718 does not have it either.
