So the GT4RS has been out for about a year now? 1100 cars in production or produced for North America? This is along with the GT4/Spyder still being made, now that GT4/Spyder production will end do we think Porsche will pump out 2000 4RS's in the next year?
I had too much time on my hands this morning so I killed it with looking a little into the GT4RS production numbers for North America so far. Thought I'd share it here. Some cliff notes:
So far there were 1105 cars built or are being build. Arctic grey is by far the fan favorite color with 276 cars.
Followed by 264 paint to sample cars. Surprised its that many. 3.4 Million $ just for special paint...well done Porsche.
There are indeed no paint to sample cars without WP. There is only 1 carrara white car without the WP. The only VIN number not used in the North America sequence ends in 718 lol.
754 have the standard headlights. 351 the LEDs. I assume mostly due to the LEDs being unavailable roughly for car 130 to 630?

Gemini Metallic Blue. Ordered almost a year ago in April, 2022. Just reached German port today. Hope it will arrive in Los Angeles soon! Anyone knows how long this journey would take? The app says 4/28 so about 40 days from today... does it really take that long?

Congrats, it'll take longer for the car to get on a ship then how long it'll be on the ship before it comes to the West Coast. My car has been at the port since Thursday and is supposed to be at the dealer on 4/11, I'll have to see it to believe it.
Yes, and you better keep your fingers crossed it gets out of your US port as well. I’m over six weeks at the US port now. It’s almost funny at this point how long this is taking. I don’t really bother with TYD anymore, it’s depressing to look at. Good luck.

Yes, and you better keep your fingers crossed it gets out of your US port as well. I’m over six weeks at the US port now. It’s almost funny at this point how long this is taking. I don’t really bother with TYD anymore, it’s depressing to look at. Good luck.
Which US port is your stuck at? Can you see the vessel/container that your car is assigned to?

It looks better in photos than in person. Looked at one at COTA for a weekend and the color really just doesn't do the car justice. I do love it on a 992 GT3 tho.
