My vehicle is a 718 spyder. But there is a tuning that I am not aware of. Ask 4 help
hello. friends
My car is a 718 spyder.
My car has big and small problems. I bought this vehicle by importing it from overseas and I am the 3rd owner of spyder. So it is not known which part was tuned, and I want to return this tuning to the original.
Can you look at the pictures of my car and share what you guys know? I sincerely ask my brothers.
not sure why the OP thinks that "tuning" requires a physical change (unless someone has installed some suspension, brake or exhaust h/w) more than likely a flash of the ECU ... dealer can flash over that!
so what are the big & small problems - this might help identify what has or has not been modified?
I think also lets get some terminology straight. When you say tuning, do you mean engine ECU tuning? If so, you would need to bring it to a Porsche tuner (not the dealership) and have them flash the stock tune back onto the car. Make sure all engine parts are OEM before doing so.
Or do you mean tuning like car mods? A lot of your pictures are just of cables and wires but that doesn't mean anything. My best advice would be to take it to a Porsche specialist shop (again not the dealership) and have them check over both the hardware and software of the car. They can more accurately tell you if the car has been modded, what has been done, and if the car was tuned or not.

(I see nothing wrong with those pictures)
I had a problem with the mission of this car, so I took the car to an authorized porsche service center and the problem was fixed.
But the center advisor told me
He told me that the car has been tuned a lot, so if there is a problem with the engine later, the warranty service could be denied.
And he sent me these pictures,
Porsche said that they do not use cable tie parts.

No i mean ECU tuning..
In fact, we do not sell the 718 spyder directly in our country.
Therefore, there are not many people who know the information about the vehicle, and individuals have to import the vehicle themselves.

I hate to say it, but if you don't sell the Spyder directly in your country, you might be out of luck. My original advice still applies, if you can bring it to a Porsche specialty shop and get them to diagnose it and do a one over. Specifically try to find a motorsports shop that specializes in tuning Porsches. If you can't find one, then there's not much Porsche can do and they will most likely deny a warranty claim
A wild guess here but the tubes look like vacuum tubes and one-way valve for Exhaust Valves controller (your car might have come with 2 remote key fob looking thingy). I suggest tracing the tubing to see if they end up at the exhaust valve to confirm.

I think @lowbee is on to something, it looks like they spliced into vacuum and power for (a guess by me too) for some type of exhaust valve controller.
I’m sure the car is all buttoned up, but take a pic of the exhaust valves as shown in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...d-options.html
I don’t think there’s much you can do at this point since I don’t know what type of recourse you’d have with the seller.
While it’s easy for me to say this, If the Spyder is running good after what the service center did, try not to worry about it and just enjoy the car.

I'll keep track of the tube as I get time. thank you

This link you sent me gave me a little more information.

Yes, that's right. I wasn't lucky.
There are not many Porsche specialty stores in Korea, so I have a lot of trouble.
I'll look for a company that knows well about tuning. thank you
