The color just seems to make (most) people happy…and a few very angry. lol On a car as naturally gorgeous as the spyder, the effect is just magnified.

The following parts need to make it from my dining room table and into the car:
- clear side markers (today)
- bucket seat front risers
- bolster covers
- trickle charger
- radar detector wired into the rear view mirror lighting
- glass rear wind screen
- ppf + ceramic
There has to be 2 or three things I’m forgetting. Any “must have’s” I’m missing? I check in on the “What have you bought” thread every so often.
Maybe’s:
- P1 inserts
- second set of tires / wheels for track

Lol, quite a list of parts already waiting for the car to arrive. I went for the toe links(& lowered 10mm), side markers, bolster covers, ppf and ceramic too. Purchased an OAP and valve controller before the car arrived and subsequently went with a Kline OAP and muffler...everyone's preference on the exhaust is different, though.
Toe links before it was delivered. The dealership has a genius at boxster setup there.

I’m going to live with the exhaust a while before I decide what to do. I understand the role of the valves, but I’m not sure I like how exhaust noise, at any given time, seems to be the result of some random number generator. lol At least at lower RPMs.
Under heavy throttle, when the sweet spot arrives, the howl seems pretty damned impressive already. At least in the cabin.

Congrats! What a beautiful car! That's almost exactly my build if/when my name is called: PG, PCCB, LWB, Blk Leather...
I even have a custom plate planned for it: SPRYTE. Meanwhile please post more pictures as you take them so I can live vicariously through this thread.

Someone on here had a conrod car and waited something like 2 years, if I’m not mistaken. That person deserves a medal or something.
@RedCarrot It’s definitely worth the wait. The spyder in PG is happiness made material.

Congrats and looks great! No footwell warming issue here, and when I notice exhaust drone I’ve forgotten to turn off the Auto On/Off function and the car has decided to cruise under low load on one bank. One button push solves that. Enjoy!

Adrift, congrats on your Spyder being delivered finally Enjoy many miles with smiles! Thought your car was going to arrive much further down the line when you made the last change and your delivery date got pushed.
You asked if you should add any mods and here are three things I personally would suggest:
-Windschott glass windshield (makes visibility out the rear so much better, especially for night time driving)
-T9 Design Memory Module (for auto s/s and cylinder deactivation)
-Soul or Cargraphic valve control module
