Hello - I’ve had my car (2020 718 Spyder) plugged in with ctek battery tender since about mid October in garage inside car bubble. . I’ve been south for winter and returning next week but my son called tonight to let me know hazard’s randomly cane on. He tried to unlock car with both key fobs - car makes clicking noise but doesn’t unlock. I’m assuming battery has died. Anyone else ever have this issue. Any help appreciated.

Car does wonky stuff when battery is low or dead. My car alarm went off twice for about 10 minutes each time at my vacation house at 2am (felt bad for my neighbors). Had CEL everything, car wouldn't unlock, but I recently charged it up etc and all lights etc disappeared. Good thing I left my frunk open. Fyi the car does make a clicking noise which is normal. Mine did it when it was charging and low on batt. It's the E brake.
