Default who else loves the symposer?

I have to say only one month into ownership and only having reached 4000 rpm at mild throttle inputs, I absolutely love the symposer! It brings a wonderful howl and growl into the cabin that I find myself quite addicted to. I can only imagine how good it sounds at higher throttle inputs and the upper rev ranges!

reading all the complaints about the 4.0 sound, I wasn't expecting much, but the sound inside the car is positively addictive. It definitely sounds better than my 981S' despite the non-functional particulate filter muffling..and the reason has to be that symposer which my 981s lacked.

Porsche nailed it with the symposer on the 4.0's.

I think the sound symposer is great! - Natural engine sounds, tuned to amplify the most pleasing tones, right behind my head in the passenger compartment. I get to enjoy the amazing high-revving, naturally-aspirated engine noise inside the car. And meanwhile the car sounds sporty but subdued from outside, and my neighbors and fellow drivers don't have to suffer through an obnoxiously loud exhaust echoing off of everything.

I also think it's great, the joy is not always in the exhaust note. I have a Fiesta ST daily and that has the same sort of symposer and it makes driving the car really fun.

Agreed, I think it makes these cars special and adds to the driving experience. If someone made an upgrade to bring even more sound in, I'd jump on that. The GT4RS airbox approach is basically the symposer on steroids.
