Check the video I just posted...it includes a very long power cable so this camera is totally independent of what mirror you have as it doesn't use power from the mirror or lights.
On thing I hate about dash cams is that I have to stick another item on the windshield, even if it's on the passenger side. I kind of like a solution like this one:

On thing I hate about dash cams is that I have to stick another item on the windshield, even if it's on the passenger side. I kind of like a solution like this one:

The same way they charge a $100k ADM for a GT4RS ...probably they are warming up to ADM on parts and labor too!
It's probably routed by the edge of the headliner front to the A pillar on the passenger side, down and into the passenger fuse box...pretty straight forward installation anyone could do it at home....1 hr max
