I have the Carbonio mount on my Cayman GTS 4.0 and I'm quite happy with it. Easy install and no issues with it so far after ~600 miles. The thumbscrew makes it simple to remove although you can still see a bit of the receiver with the mount off. It's barely noticeable to me unless I'm squatting down to look for it.

Default The Skene option

Simple two screws which are non detectable upon removal

Screws midpoint on bracket leg. Fasten to underside of bumper cover. And there is adhesive tape.

Please my license characters are confidential! !midpoint on
I have used this set up three times very happy.

Does anyone know if the Cravenspeed Platypus Tow Hook Plate holder throws off the parking sensors on the GTS 4.0?

Not sure if you are referencing my earlier post on the Platypus. My 2013 Boxster S has a parking sensor in the same location as the GTS 4.0. They supply foam button pads that stick over the sensor, which is sonic, to disburse the sound. I have to use two buttons. I regularly track and have the added third radiator. Don't want anything to block the third radiator air flow nor something that mounts underneath that will scrape the pavement.

i had the rennline mount and had 0 issues with cooling or front parking sensors. great product which is sadly sitting on a shelf in the shop since we no longer are required to run front plates.

Did you had to specify to include the foam pads?

Default Oh the horror!

I had asked my dealer to install the front license plate mount before they shipped the car to me, but they forgot. So I looked at these options, but my license plates arrived today and I went ahead with the factory front license plate mount. 2 small holes drilled in the dimples molded into the bumper cover and done!

I second the Carbonio. I have it on my ‘21 GTS 4.0. Simple to install. It holds the plate securely, yet I can have the plate off in 20 seconds or less.

I have used the Platypus tow hook mount on other cars, but have stopped using them due to parking sensors interference.

No getting round the front plate in the UK… unless you want to attract the attention of the local constabulary… best option I have found is a stick-on plate so the bodywork has no mounting holes:
