Default 718 GTS to a Spyder

So I just bought my first P Car, a 2022 Boxster GTS. I was really trying to get a Spyder and it looks like I might get lucky with an order here soon. It really comes down to if Porsche will do a 2023 MY of the Spyder which I think they will. I submitted a build for a very unique spec on one. I've seen 1 that exists in a very close spec but is a 6MT (I will be getting the PDK), didn't have bucket seats or PDLS+ etc.

Here is what I am ordering, It's not something I expect anyone to like, I always aim for unique/fun cars when I order them.

I will keep everyone updated on things because this will be a car I hopefully keep for a long time.

I am all for "fun" looking cars. I'm not sure whose car this is, but it's the one I mentioned being a similar spec but with less options than what I'm planning. I actually like the combo a lot after seeing a real example.

Love Python and gold wheels. Was my second pick for colors if I didn't go Shark Blue on my Spyder. I would have been more basic with top and interior for my Python build. Hopefully you get some good news. Think we will hear about 23's in September?? Good luck!

I’ll ask my CA on Monday and see when they’re expecting to hear. As long as they make the Spyder in 2023 I was told I’m at the top of their list.

I’ve had a green car before, the 2022 M3 Comp AWD I traded in for my GTS. I love Green it’s such a unique color these days.

I love the Python Green/ Red top combination, despite thinking it would be crazy. Despite that, considering my age, it'd scream mid-life crisis, and as such, won't go that route; will see what I can do with Shark Blue, considering it'll be similar to my YMB M3.

I might qualify as someone having a mid life crisis, but I’m young still and I love the color combo. Still waiting on official word for the MY23 so it can move forward

I don’t hate it. I configured python and Aurum before I finally settled on chalk w Aurum. But I’d worry a little about resale of your configuration. if that’s not a concern for you, go for it. Why not.

^^ Too many colours, everything shouting. Not for me!

I saw this in person and I was a big fan. Green does the talking, everything else supports. YMMV, and I certainly would never classify the image below as boring - that green colour is intense.

That's a great build and I think it "works". It is a combination of colours that you have to ask yourself "Would I look back at it while walking away?". And I say the answer is "YES!". Ilike it.

Good luck with your allocation. Keep us posted.
