Well, that's for sure, unless lock time is shifted to from 1 month to 1 day before build. Wishfull thinking perhaps (although, that shift would have made me very nervous, had too many color changes myself 😜 ).

I'm on Long Island. The roads here are WORSE than gravel roads. I also have huge speed bumps in my neighborhood. I have no problems with my SPASM. Haven't touched down yet. My friend has PASM and the same rims and I don't see much difference between the two cars aesthetically or in how they drive. I guess mine looks better because of the somewhat smaller when to tire clearance, but it's negligible.

Get the smokers package because it finishes the look of the dash. There's plenty of storage elsewhere in the car.

Here's a pic. Can you tell SPASM from PASM?

I went with the lower Sport PASM (-20mm) because I do AutoX and track events. I will say that the SPASM ride is completely comfortable, even on crappy eastern PA roads and highways. But I have scraped the rubber bits under the car a few times when I wasn't paying attention (fortunately, nothing that left any damage). Still, that extra 10mm would probably prevent a lot of scrapes, so I understand why people might choose the higher PASM option. Both are going to be sport-car firm! And unless you are a tire engineer for Michelin or a suspension engineer for Bilstein, I doubt most of us mere mortals would be able to tell the difference between a car with PASM or SPASM. That extra quarter-inch isn't very noticeable from an aesthetic point of view either. Either is a good choice, imho.

So, based on what the OP is saying, I'd recommend he select PASM. Just for that little extra ground clearance. I can guarantee that he won't regret it.

Thank you all very much - I'm sticking with PASM, but added the smokers package.

Now back to waiting and reading posts here to pass the time

Wow, you updated for a trivial change like that. You really don’t care. Then again, since it is trivial, maybe it changes nothing. Good luck with The 8 Ball of schedule doom.

Please let us know what happens. We do love our anecdotal evidence.

Does making a small change generally change the build dates?

Only for Adrift

with supply chain disruption any shift is a risk.

order is updated, delivery date is the same, but I think lock date moved up 3 days (I’m pretty sure it was 19 days yesterday and it is 15 now).

Admittedly I’m not sure you could have a more minor build change than adding or deleting the smoking package!

Ha! I resemble that remark. :-P

Yours is a good test case. Changing a very minor option SHOULDN'T impact any dates, so its a good test to see if ANY change throws your dates back up in the air for tweaking. Sounds like not, in any substantive way.

Changing my color and dropping dual climate impacted my date 2 weeks, then changing it back to my original color and readding dual climate didn't impact it any further.

I have made quite a few changes and had my date pushed back three times. Hard to say what caused the pushback though as there are so many factors at play.

Yes. I added leather steering column and, as a direct result, got bumped a month. Kept me well clear of the con-rod issue so it worked out.

My Schedule Production date is tomorrow, and it just slid a week to next Friday. None of my other dates changed, though. Expected CP 8.0 still 4/1.

Not sure if that is ominous or not. I guess it at least says they aren’t sure.

My delivery date is still 6/10, though the lock date moved back out to 18 days from now.

I"m sure your delay Adrift is because of my option update. Seriously I hope you receive an update shortly that it is actually finally in production!
