Good deal. I was going to say I had one just like that on my 911 and I had it plugged and patched, as I don’t track my cars. That’s been over 1000 miles ago and no issues. Sounds like you’ll get a new tire. Hopefully things will be smooth from here.

Well guess culprit isn't fuel, 2 tanks later, CEL comes back with the misfire. They're changing fuel rails and injectors right now, hoping to fix it. It's getting close to the you-know-what time, but I really hope it won't come to that.

UPDATE:
I think they finally found the root cause (or so I should hope): injector 3 and 6, fuel deviation value was low which was the indication that those 2 cylinders were running rich. They flushed the entire fuel system, as well as changing out all 6 injectors and 6 plugs, so far so good but we'll see if that actually solves my issue.

Haha I sure hope so, got 2 new 256G cards for my camera so I should be ready on that front lol...plus got 2 new track events signed up already hopefully I won't see any CEL/misfires before that. Funny story, like 2 times happened a week before the 2 events that I've signed up and had to cancel because of that

Many years ago my wife’s 981S freaked out on the track with half-a-dozen codes. Dealer couldn’t reproduce. After figuring out how to trigger the failure on the street we brought it to the dealer and taught the service manager how to provoke the problem. After many, many PAG/PCNA-approved warranty repairs, the mothership rolled the dice and they came up “injectors” and that cured the problem. I’m glad to see that the post-‘16 ECUs and PIWIS have additional capability for pointing fingers at injectors now.

- plugs
- coils
- vario-cam adjusters
- engine ECU
I think there were a couple more, but those off the top of my head.
