Default 22 Spyder Misfire issue

Well, the topdown weather finally reappeared here in NC, and unfortunately, so did the CEL...

1200 miles on the odo, CEL appeared two weeks ago but disappeared as soon as I backed out of the garage, pulled the code and it was cyl 6 misfire. Since it didn't persist dealership couldn't do anything other than send me on my way. Well now it reappeared and stayed on, cyl 3 joined the party this time. Still at the dealership, will post update when I know more.

Bummer. No issue here yet with 22 Spyder, just hit 2000 miles. I hope they get it sorted for you quickly.

Yeah I think it's a rare case, hopefully I'm the only one won the lottery

Sounds like your car been layed up for awhile. Was it on a battery maintainer?

These cars don’t like low voltages.

Not regularly, but if I leave it still for more than a week it's hooked on the trickle charger. NC winter has treated me decently this year, got to drive it at least once per week.

Hope it's not rodents. Happens more than people think. Good luck.

Ugh, I really hate intermittent problems with multiple dealer trips. I hope they figure it out with a permanent fix for you.

I had rodent issues as I live in a rural area. I would see their paw prints on wheels and occasionally on the windshield. I tried alot of different methods, none worked until I purchased this
Amazon Amazon
I plug it up and slide it underneath the car every time I park it. They also make a smaller one to put under the hood and wire to the battery. I have one in the frunk area. I also installed one under the hood of my wife and daughters Mercedes. No more mouse droppings under their hood. I also installed in jet skis, no more droppings.

2 different cylinders on 2 sides of the engine should really narrow it down a lot over just one cylinder. Hopefully they can figure it out.

Got that message on my 981 GTS when coil packs were failing. Turn ignition off then back on and message would disappear. Drive a bit and it would reappear. Shouldn't happen on a new vehicle, but ...

Same, I was hoping for coil pack issue but it's currently day 3 and it's still on the lift...

Yeah it disappeared the first time, this time it just stays on no matter how long you drive/how many times you restart. 2021 quality lol, and I had a bad feeling about this as if it were coil pack/plugs it wouldn't still be on the lift on day 3....

After swapping coil and plugs, code went away (not the word swap, not replace). So current theory is fuel, or something catastrophic wrong in the engine itself. Full tank of gas pumped in last weekend, so far no issues....

Well, no more issues for the CEL, but now this:

Ugh, your luck has got to change, time to buy a lottery ticket. Luckily the tire is easily fixable though.
