So what is the current market for a preowned 21' GT4
I will be trading/selling my 2021 GT4 to make room for incoming 22'GT3 in September. Currently it has 6000 miles and garaged for the winter. What is the current market condition for a GT4? Good, bad or depressing?

You'll most likely get MSRP from the dealer and they'll sell it for 10-15% over MSRP with a CPO.

it depends on state and where you are. In CA for a moderately specd car would be around 135-140k.

I bought a 718 GT4 in a private sale a couple months ago so I've been following the market. I think in a private sale you're looking at MSRP +$5k to $15k depending on location. Selling to a dealer probably MSRP -$5k to $15k.

Porsche Delaware is just delusional.
Trade in around MSRP sounds right depending on location. Depending on the options you could sell private party over MSRP. I'd certainly be willing to pay some level of premium for a 2021 GT4 but only for something that's close to what I'd want on options and color.

I think the idea that a GT4 with certain options is worth more is probably not accurate. Some people want sofas and steel brakes. For those people those options will command a premium. The idea that a GT4 without carbon buckets is worth less than simply the cost of carbon buckets is largely a forum/BAT phenomenon where having race seats has acquired a disproportional importance to the peanut gallery.

Obviously tastes differ but there are certainly combinations of options that more people find desirable and are willing to pay more for. And there anti patterns in options as well.
Buckets vs 18 ways is a matter of taste but generally a car with 4 ways is a tougher sell. Speccing python green with red calipers might turn off a good number of buyers. But at the same time, someone looking for a rarer color like Miami or Python or a PTS color might be willing to pay more to get it.
I'd agree that sometimes the peanut gallery is a bit much with the 'zomg it doesn't have buckets, worst build ever'. But there are certainly combinations of options that make it easier to sell a car at a good price.
