I have the outline on mine and would prefer that. Your vinyl person can help you with ensuring it doesn't peel. Mine does not. What they did was have the lizard green as the base then the matte black as the overlay that reveals the thin stripe of the green. Kind of like when you do multiple mattes/borders on a picture your framing.
I cannot understand why people debadge their cars and delete every possible identification of what it is leaving vast areas of nothing.
But I do not care...to each their own!
If the car has good lines then anything that breaks up those lines takes away from the design. Those who know cars, know what it is anyway. Those who don't know cars won't know what it was if you attached a billboard to your car. Now if you have a Civic Type R, anything you put on the car that distracts from the design is a plus.
Some people like the smooth look, others want some coverage. I am somewhere in between, maybe a landing strip. To each their own.
I bet most people would prefer the look of my Spyder's *** the way I have it vice no "Spyder" emblem:
I ordered mine without any badging and then I bought the same Spyder only badge. It is still sitting in my drawer and I haven’t installed it yet. I like the look both ways so my plan is to add it when I get bored with the de-badged look
