Amethyst Metallic PTS
Hi all,
I just got a build allocation for my GTS and I'm on the fence with getting it painted Amethyst Metallic. I've seen several pictures online that are either amazing or not so amazing, depending on the lighting. My wife and I stopped by a dealership this past summer to look at a sample. We took it outside in the sunlight and although we liked it, we didn't think it was worth an extra $12K. However, it was only a small square and not a whole car. I keep looking at some of the pictures online in the light and am wondering if I'm going to regret not getting it. Does anyone in the Maryland/DC/Northern Virginia/Southern Pennsylvania area happen to have a car painted in this color that my wife and I could come and see in person?

I don't care for it $13k more than the available colors on the configurator, but PTS is more about being unique and creating something special than it is making financial sense. It certainly meets those standards. And I feel like the GTS 4.0 is worthy of PTS.
