Default V215 Question

Hello everyone, I just got back from the dealer and the SA told me that my vehicle status is V215(blocked by PAG, not changeable), but my freeze date is in a few months. My understanding is V215 is a freeze date for PTS or CXX cars and I am no longer able to change my PTS color due to V215. Has anyone else got this as well, and if so were you able to change non paint components such as small interior details? Thank you!

I’ve been through this process and the v215 is in place mainly to prevent changes that would affect the qty of paint ordered. In order to make non-paint related changes, you’ll need to have your SA or PCNA rep call PAG to have them unblock the build to make the changes. After your changes are made, they’ll re-block it. I did it a couple times with a build a few years ago.

Be 100% sure of what you want to change though since if you think of something else in a week or two you may be SOL.

What change are you looking to make? My car has been v215 for a coupe months now and I just asked my SA to have an option added. It took a couple days, but PCNA got it done for him.

You should ask your SA to call their PCNA rep. They can tell the order processing group to add the option while in v215 status. I don't think all dealers will do this for their customers, but to me it's an easy ask and can be done with a few emails or a phone call. If you have any CXX options and know your territory custom tailoring representative, they can also get it done. Good luck with it.
