Sub-3000 pound 718 GT4/Spyder?

It is a PITA to do so not something that a normal person would do for track weekend. Getting it back in, properly aligned, not damaging it or the car etc. is the harder part.

Getting close! If I were to install a lightweight battery and going with you number of a 40 lb saving that would put my Spyder at 3018 lbs.
I have LWBS, PCCB, Forged Wheels, Titanium Exhaust (Akra link pipes, JCR Silenced Race Pipe), current weight 3058 lbs, nothing removed from the car and about 1/3 tank of gas. (for the weight below)

Now you have me wondering about my car's weight. It came with PCCBs and buckets and I have added a full inconel exhaust including headers, light weight battery, and forged wheels. However, I have some heavy options such a Burmester, LEDs, fire extinguisher, and I added sound insulation in the doors (probably no more than 1lb).

I know it is a 2 years old thread and OP probably sold the car by now, but personally I am still curious to the reason for all this weight saving

For fun and, if you sprint, autox or hill climb your car it will make a difference to get5% out.
I am from the aged 981 GT4 world - my car weighs (with full fuel no pax) 1336kg.
I have - Dundon headers, over axel adaptors with cats and a GT3 RS titanium final silencer - getting your OPFs out will save a ton of weight
A liteblox Lithium battery -15kg
918 Carbon seats
Apex 18" EC5-RS forged wheels
Radio and PCM delete and shelf -7kg
CCBs - 18kg
and have removed my cage and harnesses.

There is a flip side to going lighter weight. It does make a car better from a performance standpoint, but it also makes a car less stable and apt to move around more. Also less weight means less contact force of the tires on the pavement (unless one is also adding additional aero)
The lighter you go, the less stable a car feels when you get into triple digit speeds.

Three Wheelin'
Quicker acceleration, better braking, more agile in transitions, and more responsive handling.
Just the opposite from when you add another person to the car and make it a bit more sluggish, slower, and longer in the braking zones.
If you are not at full tilt on the track, then maybe it doesn't matter that much.
My car feels heavy with a full tank of gas and all of my gear in it on the way to the track. Unload it and enter the track and it feels better. Burn off another 50-60 pounds of gas and by the end of the second session, all is Good.

918 seats,
steel brakes,
CS roll bar,
BBS FI-R,
LiFePO4,
navigation / sound package plus,
full + extended leather,
no fire extinguisher and no tire fit,
35 l fuel.
Easy to go sup 3000 with PCCB and removing roll bar (estimate 1345 kg or 2959 pounds) w/o sacrifice of luxury / comfort
Dont know the Apex weights but with radio delete and exhaust you are about 15 kg up front.

I wonder how easy/hard it would be to bring a Spyder RS with LBWS and PCCB under 3000 lbs.
Assuming Weissach Pkg has no weight benefit?
How much lighter are the Magnesium wheels?
How much does the (removable) top weigh?
How much extra weight does Bose add?

Edit: actually probably need to add a full titanium exhaust to that list

That would be amazing. Imagine if it was also manual instead of PDK which must add quite a few extra pounds.
