Same thing with the Dundon headers - way too much money and one is paying for the name, and they think that since it costs a lot it must be better...suckers.

It's all marketing and trading on their name.
NEVER underestimate the power of marketing and branding, you would be surprised at how many fall for it. As a savvy consumer, you have to look past the branding and marketing and look at the details. Sometimes the extra cost is worth it, but most times it is NOT.
As with everything in life, do your research and due diligence.

I have dundon headers on my GT3, and I'm really happy with them. I'm trying to decide what exhaust option to go with on my Spyder, but the tax on these pipes is too rich for my taste.
It may just be me, but dundon parts seemed to be one of the most installed systems on the 991 GT3 cars, but it seems like they aren't as common on the 982 GT cars just based on what I see posted here. I wonder if the cost is playing a role.

That has to be the first coherent, non sales pitch post (constant GY tire posts) of yours that I agree with. Potential is in the making.

Understood, and known, but I was responding to the implication that their header design was "marketing speak", with no substance, and whether or not it was warranted. That said, I don't think anyone else has a similar catted header solution as they do, as their design pushes the cats further away from the heads than others.

Roger that...I was referring to 981s. But yeah, OAP pricing is "yikes".

Well designed?....yes / maybe but some have much better design than others. I may be going into an area of detail that the difference may be negligible...but if I'm going to drop $$$$ I want the best.
IMO Cargraphics is the best bang for your buck. I do have the Dundon system as I wanted the cats at the GPF location and they convinced me with their longer header design with the collector further downstream. The minus of this is that is not modular and I have to use their OAP + header.
Totally agree that Dundon's OAP are waaaay too expensive.
Considered BCFab (Similar Pricing) but it was a lot easier to deal and ship something from the US. The under Axle design of the OAP is interesting as well as the cone transition into the cat.
Going back to Cargraphics take their sport header (with cats) and compared that to other....checkout the length of the runners, how they are designed to almost be equal lenght / longer and placing the cat as further downstream as possible. On the other hand the Kline, while they look good, is just 3 short runner into a collector taking a 90 degree single tube curve into the cat.....not so sure about that design. It will work but will not be optimal.
