Hmm. I don't recall seeing a warmup procedure. I just keep the RPMs low until oil & water come up to standard operating temperature > 200

I found a manual for the previous gen GT4, and it reads as follows:

"Do not warm up the engine when stationary.
Drive off immediately. Avoid high revs and full
throttle until the engine has reached operating
temperature"

I started to get impatient as well, winter weather is rolling into MN. I made it to 1200 miles, and gave in and said the heck with it and hit 7,000rpms a few times. I've been gradually building it up, but it is awesome! There is so much more fun that happens after 4,000 rpms. I couldn't imagine waiting the full 2,000 miles to get past that. Hoping to drive it quite a bit more with winter tires and find a way to hit redline before springtime. I'm currently running the JCR manifolds with the valves wide open, it's definitely helping me push the rpms higher as each new rpm level brings with it wonderful sounds.

It is exciting the first few times you hear it scream up in the higher rev ranges. I’ve never had such a high revving car, so it was a bit nerve wracking for me the first few times (my Golf R tapped out at 6500 I think).

Nice, I miss that feeling of oh boy I just entered "here there be engines exploding RPM range!"

Too many mazdas and hondas in my life that go to the moon for rpms.

It was 70 degrees here yesterday, so got to take a top down ride. My car has 1800 miles on it, so I took it up to 7500 yesterday and it was screaming lovely notes. I also found a new road with some great curves. Unfortunately, I could only do a lunch break drive as I have a huge load of work right now.

I did get a bit spoiled by my previous 970.2 Panamera GTS. It was a wonderful car, but we didn't need the 4 seats and it was a bit too nice for driving to and from work and regular errands. That one was crazy with the 7k red line and 440/384 power....but it was less exciting given the 4200lb weight. It did out handle my 1st gen Cayman around corners and tight sections with the air suspension and wizardy that Porsche baked in. It was always impressive, and I'll probably regret selling it now and then. It was my 1st PDK and being able to get 29mpg at 75 was awesome for the performance you'd get. But any of my previous cars were limited 6500 rpm, and my current Audi doesn't reward you for going past 5,000 rpm in most driving scenarios as you fall out of the torque curve.

The engine has an amazing pull from 5000 to 7800! Amazing and addictive! Sounds especially awesome with the top down.

Another 70 degree day for tomorrow! Too bad it will be a drive to the airport - heading to Denver. But the drive is about 45 minutes through the Delmarva countryside to the Salisbury airport.
