Without a valve controller, the transition is pretty sharp and when you're driving a twisty road, you cross that threshold a lot so it is kind of obvious.

Glad to hear you enjoy the Kline! I love mine - I'm curious if you can tell a difference with the Iconel, maybe we ought to do another coffee meet. . (or actually take a drive this time)
I’m anxiously waiting to get my valve controller installed and try it out.
Regarding inconel vs SS, my brain tells me the inconel is higher pitched but we’d have to drive back to back to be sure. We should set something up later after I get the valve controller issue resolved.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I'm curious if you have found any differences with inconel vs ss? Sound quality and tone, not loudness.

I am glad to have come across this thread. The OP might as will have been describing my current BC Fabs muffler. It is very similar to what was written about the Akrapovic especially the loudness and the boomy behavior. It makes the comparison with the Kline all the more relevant and encouraging to me as I wait for mine.

Interesting comparison. I wonder why the Kline system is quieter than the Akra at low RPMs.

My understanding is that the volume increases vs. stock comes from the OAP, and the backbox doesn't really add volume but just changes tone.

I would love to hear a comparison between one of these setups vs a Flat6 OAP + JCR non-silenced setup.

Eh, not true as far as I know. Both contribute to the intensity of sound. The OEM muffler is indeed that, a giant muffler. Removing that uncorks a lot of sound like my BC Fabs valved muffler when coupled with OEM OAPs. I have Kline now and it is much louder than stock with disconnected vacuum lines.

Inconel and stainless look identical to each other. Guessing the Inconel will burn in a nicer color and weighs a little less.

For RL pricing or to order or for any questions please PM or email sales@supremepower.com and we would be happy to assist
I got the carbon--not because I like the look of carbon but because I wanted black tips as silver tips drive me crazy as they are never as clean as they should be.
