Default Has anyone else done this? GT4 Rear Diffuser

Hi all

I collected my 718 GT4 a few weeks back and so far she’s been amazing!

I decided to join an enthusiastic Porsche drive last weekend and may have got a little bit of air in the process.

I has assumed that I caught the front splitter but have recently noticed that instead I have managed to catch the rear diffuser.

Has anyone else managed to do this? Is this normal and somewhat inevitable? Should I be rushing out to replace it?

The front splitter I can understand…. But I’m a little more concerned about this…

thanks!

Yes, my rear diffuser is no longer pristine. Mostly from negotiating steep inclines.

Yes i have noticed this a few times actually going over some speed bumps and although making it through the front splitter, i do hear some scrapes in the back as the rear wheel is coming down from the bump.

I checked and was surprised how the rear is so low. But no worries, just plastic!

My diffuser was already scuffed on delivery. This doesn't affect performance so I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes, done the same on some B-Road excursions.

Prepare to replace in a few years.

Thanks all

That makes me feel much better to know.

It’s always a gut wrenching feeling when you
damage something…

If you get away from a Cars and Coffee, head out to a HPDE/track Event, its amazing how well even the ones that are driven hold up.
