Glad you were able to get the photobook. It definitely is a nice momento if you plan to keep the car for a long time. Looks like you got a few pages of the EM install. I wish they could have gotten some photos of the painting process.

Just out of curiosity, has anybody been able to order one of these photobooks? Unfortunately, the program was stopped for some time because the photographer passed away unexpectedly during the early days of COVID and people that were inquiring were apparently told that the program was on hold. Haven't heard any mention about it re-starting lately so curious if anybody has any new information on the photobooks?

 

So sad to hear about the photographer passing. His work will be forever remembered.

Interesting but I just noticed that both of your covers are leather whereas mine is Alcanatara. I didn't request it to be Alcantara so wonder how they decide who gets leather and who gets Alcanatara?

Definitely unfortunate that the photographer passed away. When I posted about my photobook, folks reached out to me to get info on it and when they contacted PAG, they were told that the program was on hold indefinitely. This was during COVID time so just wondering if there has been any progress on this especially with the GT4 RS and now Spyder RS builds happening. It would so awesome to see photos captured in the photobooks of that glorious GT3 engine going into the engine bay of the GT4 RS and Spyder RS.

 

I had contact with the Porsche factory earlier this year regarding the photo book. Currently, this is not offered, as is also mentioned here. However, they are considering whether they can offer this again in the future. From their very vaguely worded statement, I read between the lines that they are indeed considering it, but do not yet know exactly how to implement it professionally and in a scalable way.

I got the info, that the photobook can be ordered again, currently just for 911.
Costs for the 64 pages (incl. company info bla blup) w/o CXX options = 2999 Euro, with CXX options = 3911 Euro (w/o VAT)

 

Sorry to revive such an old post but curious to know if anybody has successfully ordered an assembly line photo book with their order as of late? I know this program was put on hold and some people had reported months ago that there was chat that it would return but maybe modified in some way so curious to know if anything has come about with this option.

 

Was not an option when I locked my build in November. Unfortunately.
