I want to remove the rear third brake light on my Spy to put a sticker on it.
Is someone has already remove it? What are the TIP's to do it well? Thanks.

search is your friend - already discussed previously in this forum
Before to post, I have already searched, but not so easy to combine several key words for this topic.
Ok, I will search again in this forum .
Often it is easier to do more complicated searches with Google. You can have Google search Rennlist for you by entering a phrase like this in the Google search bar (without the quotes shown here)

I wrapped mine while it was on the car, with the darkest film from Lamin-x, and also did my rear reflectors - I will post a pic when I uncover the car next time. I made a template out of paper and then cardboard that I used to cut the film to the exact sizes, just like when I wrap most parts. Lamin-x sells precut kits for a lot of items, such as the side markers but only those fit properly - the ones they sell for the rear reflectors are not the correct shape so I had to get a sheet of it that I used to make my own.
I assume there will be some sort of dash alert that it is disconnected? I may just take mine off and leave it off, and put a cover plate over the mounting holes.
Can you do us a favor and take a picture of what the holes look like on the trunk lid when the 3rd brake light is removed? And measure the size of the hole? Maybe I can get some plugs made and painted by Eric at Bumperplugs.com

So I will have to leave it connected and secure it in the trunk...no problem. But I do need to know the size of the holes it leaves before I take it apart.
Thanks, I see they are different on each side. I will take mine a part and see what I can come up to disguise the holes! I have matching color vinyl but I will have to figure something out to cover the hole first....not inclined to have a body shop fill/sand, etc. in case it needs to go back in when I sell it.
