Dealers have plenty of allocations, they just didn't want to let them go easy. Greedy dealers as usual.
I know my dealer has some big guys that do more business than I've done with them so I figured I'd have to wait for the next quarter's allocations to get my car just like it happened with my Touring allocation. I'm very lucky to have a good relationship with my dealer, they are great folks and that's why I keep going back to them to buy non-GT cars and trade back the cars that they sold me (it's only fair in my opinion).

Listened to Spike Car Radio. Farrahs comments on GT4RS were interesting. Best Porsche ever made. Also comments about the size of the 992 GT3 etc.

Here is the link if anyone is interested, starts from 21:21 min.

I think his review here on the GT4RS is better than the You Tube videos.

Congrats to those receiving allocations!

I emailed my SA to ask about what he's seeing for 718 GT4 RS: They're accepting order demands with $70k ADM. He has one slot left at V200 (July production, I believe) available at $100k ADM. Please don't shoot the messenger -- Just thought I'd share this on here as an additional data point. Of course, if anyone would like to place an order demand or snag that last slot, you're welcome to PM me.

Congratulations to those that have received GT4RS allocations!

Knowing that I was #10 at a small dealership that might get 2-3 allocations /yr, I bought a 991.2 GT3RS WP instead and will be tracking it in 2 weeks. So I didn't get to spec it, but I just couldn't wait. (I am having a BLAST!)

I am keeping the '21 GTS 4.0, a sentimental favorite of my husband & daughter.

That's pretty early, my delivery date is 195 days away and it may be pushed out even further since I'm going with PTS.

Nice, you might have one of the first GT4RSs in the US. Mine will probably get delayed since I added PTS. The Touring that I got in Nov 2021 I'll get in late July/early Aug 2022.

My SA input my PTS color into the PMS and now it shows that the Delivery Date is Pending. So much for getting the car in Dec. haha Given that I'll get my PTS Touring 9 months after I placed the order, I'm thinking I'll get the GT4RS sometime in the late winter/early spring of 2023. They probably have to order the paint, huh?

Here's the final build and I'm not touching anymore ----> www.porsche-code.com/PP8AECH5

I hesitate to make this post. I recall just how terribly frustrating it was trying to get an allocation on the original GT4. But I am please to say after 7 years of waiting, it looks like I will be back in the seat of a GT4, RS this time. My long long long ago order demand went V200 this week, completion date 9/16. So I totally understand if you are still waiting and am in no way gloating. But I am very happy. And a bit surprised that there has not been another hiccup (at least not yet!)

The price of the GT4RS has risen to nose bleed levels when considering that the perfectly awesome 2016 GT4 cost me only $89,500 when new. But when you are a Cayman addict as I am, and they finally build the ultimate Cayman, what can you do except say "thank you, I'll pay". I recall turning down a 991.1 GT3 allocation because the build was $153,000 - crazy money I thought back then. It was so high it even included a "luxury tax" for the uber wealthy. Now, the new GT4RS is even more. Logical? I think not, but I am not thinking this time, just doing.
