you will lose cooling...

I tore one off of my GT3 following an "agricultural" line at the 'Ring - replacement was no big deal...

if you need the 982 specific P/Ns I can throw my car up on the lift and check for you.
Thanks DC021! I ended up finding the number. It's 982-505-201(L)/202(R). Unfortunately this is not stocked so it takes 5 days to arrive and I have a track day this Saturday at Gingerman. Hopefully I can make it through without engineered cooling this once...

Don't forget to order the support (bracket), and bolts.

you will be fine - just make sure that you are diligent in your cool down lap ... one day of tracking w/o brake ducting will not kill your pads or rotors...

if you happen to have an IR temp sensor you can always compare ducted. vs non rotor temps if you are concerned!

good point! I do, will remember to take it and compare right and left side just for the trivia knowledge!

I'd be v.curious to see what difference the ducting makes to the rotor temp!

Larry, did the measurements yesterday. Out of two sessions the non cooled brake rotor was between 10-15F hotter than the other side. Like 175F vs 190F. So pretty significant! Haven’t felt any loss in braking performance though.
