Damn! What a car. I've been in the camp of preferring a 4RS/SRS over any of the current 911 models for sale, but that car might have just gone to top of my list.... well, in my imaginary dream garage.

When you get offered an allocation you just tell the friendly salesperson you want a watch. If you order your car with WP then you get a watch with the carbon fiber, if you get a car without WP then your watch will reflect that too.
Your watch in all likelihood will arrive at a different time to your car.

It seems to be a 992 GT3 touring with some weight reduction and tuning to make it more fun at reasonable road speeds. I wonder if it’s actually a more fun road car than my 997.1 C2S manual (super engaging at reasonable speeds).

997 generation still has the best steering feel compared to anything that came after it. Keeping mine forever even if it gets driven less often than the new shiny stuff.

And the 997 manual has crazy long throws compared to the modern stuff. It is a great link between the old air cooled manuals but paired with a modern engine and safety features.

Would you say it adds value to the car itself if it comes with the watch? Don't mean to miss out on the opportunity to own both. Currently, I have a WP allocation/order in, but didn't opt for the watch (dealer also didn't mention this was an option).

Ok I thought you had better offers than that…
Still crazy expensive for the weight saving they give (for my pockets obviously)

I agree, as much as the weight saving would be nice to have, just too expensive, I would simply get the forged wheels on the car and order up a second set of forged for the non-summer tires.

Anyone know how the weight of the SRS compares with the 911 ST and 992 GT3?
