sorry lol. It was an honest question. I didn’t think there would be demand for a spyder RS.. would have thought a track focussed package would be much more sought after in hardtop format.
my friend there has and always will be massive demand for ANY special edition Porsche. Are you new here?

918 VIP program ends in 2025 for the last customers. No amount of good graces will get you ahead of those customers so everyone will be fighting for whatever scraps are left once the 918 folks get theirs.

You’re ignoring the meaning of “tone deaf”. It means you’re ignoring some obvious information right in front of your face. It isn’t a comment on “legitimacy” of the information (so to speak), in this case. There are threads full of posts with people both expressing deep desire, as well as aesthetic and implementation concerns. In other words, I didn’t say you were wrong, just not listening.
Your exact concerns have been discussed many times, and many agree it’s a messaging mess (me included). But thinking no one wants a mid-engined GT3 motored spyder, with now the extra possible enticement of a MT, is A) silly / myopic, and B) tone deaf.
I’d definitely prefer the vents dropped, the 5 lug wheels, and cleaner intake design. Would I sell my soul for rock and roll, and a chance at this car, esp if with a Manual? Yep.
My belief is the sales pitch to the board (to get this approved) is that it will be just like the spyder/gt4 design synergy, but with the 4RS, and thus require virtually no additional development money (except to graft on the 7.2 spyder roof, a ducktail, and some cowbells). Perfect (like the current spyder, imho?) No. Freakin awesome car (esp with a 6Spd)? Oh hell, yeah. Unfortunately, this same cost savings sales pitch is why there likely won’t BE a manual.
You didn't ask a legitimate question. You asked one that was meant to be condescending towards anyone who expressed interest in this car. "Why would anyone's opinions differ from mine when mine's the only correct one" is how every post you've made in this thread comes across. Maybe rethink how you ask your questions, and you'll get a more positive response.
