Agreed, strange option differences between the two cars...

I've done something similar to that but using jack-stands.
I even cleaned underneath the Bullitt Mustang a few times over the years I owned it.

Looking good

I think its Agate grey, slate is a bit bluer (although it does look blueish in the photo, I think thats because of the sky)

For me clean goes far beyond what most people can even see.

Front radiator, condensers, ducts, liners and wheel wells during this session.

Thank you! It’s Slate Grey Y97 (the lighter of the two non-metallic Slate Grey).

Thanks Terry! Those are Jackpoint Jackstands, and they are by far the best we’ve ever had. They allow you to jack up the car at the jack point. IMO it’s a brilliant design and they are very robust. I have no affiliation to Jackpoint but if you’re interested you can go to their web site and see how they work: http://www.jackpointjackstands.com

As mentioned, it’s the lighter of the two non-metallic Slate Grey (Y97). My last GT4 was Agate which I thought was a great color, but it would have been Slate if I could have gotten PTS the last time! I’ve loved this shade of Slate Grey for many years and was thrilled to finally have the chance to order it. I find the Slate (like many colors) is very changeable with lighting. It can look almost Charcoal, to almost Chalk. Some have mistaken it for Graphite Blue which has a LOT more blue when they are side-by-side, and Graphite is also metallic (although to my eye there’s very little flake).

For reference here is Agate followed by some Slate Grey with different lighting:

Sunny mid-day Agate Grey

Mid-day shade

Late-day shade looks closest to Agate Grey

You go FAR beyond what we normally do. In full disclosure, I had unfortunately driven through some fresh tar covered paving rocks. The road wasn’t being paved, but a paving truck had driven down the road and dropped all sorts of debris. I had no choice and turned around ASAP but despite a very short distance I picked up a lot of “gunk” on the tires and of course it went into the wheel wells. Quite a few hours later it’s back to as good as new! We actually left the car on the stands overnight in the driveway with no issue whatsoever. Washing was the last step before putting the wheels back on. We normally don’t routinely remove wheels to clean, but this time it was necessary.

With PPF, tint, clear side markers, Blendmount with Redline 360c, T-Design9 memory module, 3D-printed stick-on license plate mount, Flat6 Motorsports GoPro mount, 200 miles of break-in, and my first PCA Cars and Coffee event taken care of; I thought maybe it was time for my first posed camera shots.
So here's my contribution to Side Shot Saturday!

That's Llumar Pinnacle Ceramic Tint at 30%. I went with that on the sides and rear as well.
