Good thing your car didn't fall off the truck, those wheel straps look a little loose!

Default Checking in on a friend!

Dropped by the dealership to check up on progress, a friends GT4 waiting for delivery after its engine was swapped out... delivery soon after PDI and PPF.

Hoping for some more nice days and an appearance at the local Porsche Cars and Coffee or Euro Cars and Coffee on the 17th!

Westcoast,

Personally I hope your Friend's GT4 in the picture performs as it should.

And has the reliability that in general the Porsche vehicles have been known for.

Thanks Terry, not only for him but for us all, the Stop Sale, TPMS and now (possibly) an oil pump issue has some of us a little shaken of late...

So here's is hoping that we can get this all behind us and enjoy these cars as they are meant to be, out zipping about on back roads and creating memories with every turn!

Westcoast,

Well my Good-Man in my case/situation and not yet even having my GT4.
I don't yet have anything concrete that I can add about the GT4 in it's reliability or for that matter anything else.
One of these weeks though I will have it and I can say we are looking forward to those daily drives with one another.
Hopefully after the time it has ended up taking I won't be experiencing anything negative with mine.
We shall certainly see ................

Terry

Your friend's car is exactly how mine is specced externally. GT Silver, PCCB's, PDLS+. Such a solid combo.

He also has LWBS, CF sills and yellow deviated stitching to tie back to the calipers.

I like the combination.

Nice. I did the yellow deviated stitching and race yellow seat belts as well to tie it all together. I went with the standard 2-way seats though as mine will be my only car. I also went with the red gauges as I am not a fan of the titanium finish on the tach. I kept the sport chrono in black.

Other highlights are Carbon fiber trim, PDK, and leather steering column.

Great spec, you are going to love it, very similar to my interior, yellow belts and gauges as well...

It's so odd that they don't offer the same gauge color options for both the GT4 & Spyder. Yellow isn't an option on the GT4.
