Auto-blip?

I go back and forth, sometimes on, sometimes I do it just because I enjoy it. Weird when I forget its on and blip over the blip though.

I am very average at heel/toe but I can do it on my M3. I don't really use my heel though I use the top of foot and do the roll to blip the throttle. However, the height difference between the gas pedal and brake in the GT4 is so much that I have not been able to heel/toe at all. Especially on normal roads I feel like I would need to brake super hard in order to get the brake pedal low enough. My foot just doesn't bend the way to actually use my heel, which seems like the technique most people are using for Porsches.
So I generally use the auto-blip but would like to be able to manually blip when I wanted. Anyone have any experience with the Rennline adjustable pedal or I've seen a company make like a spacer for the gas pedal?

For me it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

I stopped doing it myself. It was extremely easy on my E92 335i, then quite difficult on my Camaro SS 1LE. The GT4 is in-between. Just not good at it anymore especially with keeping constant brake pressure.

My heel/toe skills are average at best. I got a C7 6+ years ago and was sold on the rev match - quicker and smoother than me. I plan to use it on my CGTS as well. Yes, it's an assist with a manual, but it's still a manual.

Depends on the car, some cars have perfect pedal layout like a mazda RX8 where you can't stop yourself from heel and toeing (in the case of my foot rolling my foot as I don't actually know anyone small enough that can 'heel and toe') every corner perfectly, and some are gross like my race car where I don't even bother doing it most downshifts and deal with hte drivetrain shock other ways.
I'll see how I like it in the GT4, but odds are I'll run without it unless the pedal layout is really bad for me.

There’s no option for “both” - I like to match myself on my early morning drives when no one is on the road with me, PCM off, etc. But when I’m just putting around town with the radio on it’s nice to have the option to have the car do it itself and marginally better than I would do it anyhow.

I had a collection of Brit sports cars, and in the older ones, heel-toe was necessary on every drive. It’s tricky with my big feet, but became quite accomplished. In my recent 911’s, I did a mix depending on my mood, but always auto-blip around town. It’s the same with PSE, chassis mode selection, and the nannies - depends on my mood and where I’m driving.

On the street, you have to get into the brake pretty far in order to properly do it so I don't find many chances for heel-toe. That being said, I still don't use auto-blip on the street.
On the track, I tried 1 braking zone without it before I permanently turned it on. All it takes is 1 unsettling downshift, or your foot slipping off the brake pedal for something bad to happen and so I use it on the track with no shame whatsoever. I'd only try turning it off once I was more comfortable with my abilities on track.
The only thing is that it works so well, I have to remember to closely watch my speed as I downshift into 2nd. At Mid-Ohio after the back straight you are going from ~130+ to ~70mph and that's downshifting from 4-3-2 (I guess you could do a 4-2). You can't go into 2nd until your speed is under 80mph without risking a money $hift (Auto blip doesn't stop you from slotting it into gear and letting off the clutch
) - I know I put it into 2nd and let off at about 85-90mph and it still rev-matched, but that's definitely above the redline (and nothing has gone wrong because of that 1 time).
