I haven't heard of one yet (from the 982 generation, 981 is a different story). My race shop who does a lot of warranty work on Porsches has yet to either.

I just passed 36K miles on my own car and that is all street/road use (so a lot of shifts) and I do not baby it. It has been flawless thus far. Granted I do not usually use launch control (maybe 7 or 8 times).

If I ever do have an issue, I'll be sure to post as I plan to keep my car well past the 100K mark.

PDK gearboxes are damn near bulletproof these days, I certainly wouldn't be worried about PDK failures when you can just keep extending the warranty. My car is a manual but I just had the warranty extended for 4 years despite my usage patterns. Porsche really back their product in a way that no other car maker does.

Reedy who wrote your extended warranty for how many years and cost ?
I used Michael Jordan who underwrites thru Fidelity , very reasonable compared to Porsche

It's continuing the Porsche Factory Warranty. Extended via the dealer, they took a copy of my service history. Did a download of the ECU and sent it to all Germany for assessment. $3900 AU for 4 years.

I wouldn't really consider any 3rd party warranty. Full factory and dealer support or nothing imo.

Wow that's actually far more reasonable than I expected. I'll be keeping this in mind if I hold onto my GT4
