I’ve observed this recurring and pervasive filth on my car in this specific area, but while watching a video from I’m Schmee! I see he has the same affliction and I am guessing many owners are then experiencing the same. Those with light paints will likely be seeing this more readily.

Wondering if anyone has any insight as to what is the root cause and how to abate. I haven’t driven the car in the rain so the only thing I can think of is that water from washing the car is being held somewhere and then blown out at speed. Which is alarming if this is the case, as this is going to be a source of future corrosion.

I think it’s fluid sloshing out the vent in the windshield washer reservoir. Maybe siphon a bit out and see if it goes away. Common sight at the track.

Outstanding advice! Apparently I am driving too hard on the street as this car hasn’t yet seen track time. I will give that a go for sure

Yes I can confirm it’s the fluid from the windshield washer reservoir. I had this at the track a couple of weeks ago. Scary moment though as I thought for a moment it was break fluid !
