I went half way up yesterday and turned around. Be advised there’s a LOT of salt on the road in many places, especially on Angeles crest highway and big tujunga, so you’ll be more cruising on those spots until traffic can sweep aside the salt.

This thread has been sleepy and since Porsche's 75th year anniversary celebrations are going on next week, I thought it would be fitting to share some events going on around SoCal related to the celebration and then some. I'm sure your local Porsche dealer is hosting an event on June 10th so if you're not aware of anything, I would recommend reaching out as I didn't want to list all of the local Porsche dealership events in SoCal individually.
Porsche Newport Beach probably won't be having a shin dig. Word has it that the site will be an empty patch of dirt within two weeks with one of these on the way...

It's true they are leveling the existing dealership for a new Gen-5 facility. Not sure when exactly but in the next few weeks. Service will move to Costa Mesa off Red Hill Ave.

I'm a bit sad. I spent a decade in their service department back in the 1985-1995 era and man, the stories I could tell. That place was a sheet show from one end to the other. Never mind Leigh Steinberg walking naked through the bushes in the middle of the night.
