Correct, and screws are included since the holes to attach plate are included - see my post above to get to the source.

I would be a little concerned that we are relying on the 3M tape to hold the plate on...

I had the setup on my Targa GTS for over 2 1/2 years with no problems such as lifting, etc. If the surface is cleaned well before the pieces are applied I do not see how such a lightweight plate could be too much weight, and I even had a metal plate frame, and I do on this one. If you are still concerned when they first came out I put one on crooked and they provided me a replacement free of charge - it was VERY hard to remove it. I used heat and trim tools and it did wind up coming off but the paint remained intact. Finally, if someone was still concerned, they could use the 3M Adhesive Promotor, which one can get in little one-use packets - they will never come off if that is used!

My dealer drilled all 4 holes onto mine and the threads aren’t holding anymore. I am going to try going with the Well Nut route, probably a little less intrusive than the nutserts and best of all it only costs a few bucks.

There are countless cheap ways to install a plate - these are made to set the plate off the bumper, which looks kinda cool, and allows water to run off and not get accumulate and slowly drip out.

Yes there is! I’m at a point where I don’t care too much about little details anymore and just want my plates to be snug.

Off topic, I see you are over on HD too!

They are very snug with the mounts...I like the little details personally!

And yes, my current ride is a 2020 Anniversary Fatboy, the only vehicle I would ever get in Black.

That’s great to hear they hold up good! If the well nuts does not work I will visit the mounts you are recommending.

Nice! I’m on a 21 Sport Glide.

Yes, Tom is shipping out the license plate mounts to me in the next couple days. I did manage to get three posts in quickly, so I was able to PM him directly. Post a couple pics and/or provide feedback in one of the Cayman/Boxster threads, then post that you are interested in the license plate mount - and that'll give you the three posts you need. Then you can go back and edit your license plate post, and PM Tom after that.

I got my mine! Here's a photo of the uninstalled product and the instruction sheet. Tom can do them in several colors.
The quality of the 3D printing and the whole assembly is top notch. There are threaded brass inserts with high quality black washers and screws. Counting the adhesive they are ⅜" thick.
Thank you Tom; and Bob Z for the reference.
While I was over there getting this ordered I also joined the forum.

Yes, I received my set from Tom at ******** as well, exactly the same as these. It’s a nice community there.
