Okay I just took a much closer look and do finally see the river-rock.
Talk about low maintenance.
I had three (3) companies come and completely do all my areas around the house and as you did they did the Bigger Brown river-rock.
The 1st company redid the shrubbery and also ran the new commercial gutters under the sidewalks and Way-way out in the yard to Pop-Ups.
2ND company poured the Brown colored concrete boarders all the way around the house.
3RD company put the weed black ground cover for added weed control and then put down Tons of the Brown-River-Rock.
Very-very maintenance free with simply using Round-Up.
It turned out nicely and has stayed looking new as I had that done back in 2016. Was ............
I'll add some photos to Assad's above from our 80-mile drive on Sunday. Assad generously let me have the wheel and we explored some great backroads in the Southwest-Southern tip of Colorado.
After 6 weeks of snow and cold temps, Sunday was 50 deg f and mostly clear.
Such a good feeling being back in a Spyder, I'll come full circle this week when I meet up with my "new" Porsche.
Break-in is almost complete, as 7000 rpms was achieved. Gravel & slush be damned, it was a great day out in the Rocky Mountain proving grounds.
