Default "Spyder" and “GT4” logo decal for front spoiler

All the talk about decals or paint for the "GT4" on the side scoops got me thinking about something similar for the "Spyder" on the front spoiler lip. I wonder if it is the same size as the ones on the side of the top, or back bumper? I am thinking about having a Yellow decal made for it but if they make an emblem that fits it maybe I can get one, have it painted, and put it there. Can someone take a couple measurements when they time?

I measured from the lower left edge of the "S" to the upper right edge of the "r" and got the following dimensions:
Front Spoiler: 8.56"
Side just behind door: 6.69"
Rear: 6.69"

I like the labelling. The front spoiler "Spyder" is just a black impression in the black spoiler. Hard to notice. I wish the letters were white or red. If Bob Z gets white or red letters made to fit in the letter impressions, I will buy.

I'll get them made for sure but it will probably have to wait for my car to get here though since I will need to make a tracing of the impression to send to my decal maker so she can make them. By the way, when I get my car the chrome ones on the sides of the top are coming off and getting painted Racing Yellow - no chrome for me! I even deleted all the chrome from my Harley!

Can you send me a pic of the one on the front spoiler? Maybe I can do something without having my car here...

Here is a photo. I think it would be tough to get an accurate digital image from a photo due to parallax error. I'd recommend waiting for your car. When are you expecting it?
I also like the idea of painting the chrome "Spyder" on the side. The chrome seems mildly out of place. Can you recommend how to pop them off w/o damaging them? Are they held on with clips, double sided tape, or ???

It appears that it is raised, huh? If so it may be easier to make a decal for it but lying a piece of paper over it and making a tracing. My car is expected at the end of next month or early July so if we can figure something out by then I will get on it when it arrives.

The side chrome "Spyder" emblems are easily removed just as other emblems are - others here have already done it. Use a hairdryer and heat them up and use some dental floss or fishing line behind it - work along slowly and it will come off. If you need someone to paint them Eric at bumperplugs.com has done a lot of work for me over the last 20+ years and he also does a great job. Use some 3M tape to put it back on and I have used very narrow stuff from ebay that can be used to reapply it.

Bob, if you’re referring to the Spyder lettering — no it’s recessed.

On the front spoiler - it looks raised in the pic but I trust you!

TXShaggy is correct (and trustworthy). Letters are recessed.

It's definitely recessed. TXShaggy and Spyderman2 are definitely correct. I visit my "held in captivity" Spyder every so often at my Dealership while awaiting the engine replacement, and I can assure you, it's recessed

I painted side and rear Spyder emblems in Satin Gold like the wheels. Looks great on a black Spyder
